Native New Mexico Artist Josh Bond will be hosting several upcoming workshops on Traditional New Mexico Punched Tinwork at his home/studio in Cuchillo, NM.
The beginner workshop will allow students to learn the history, tools, process, and materials used in Traditional New Mexico Tinsmithing.
The advanced workshop will focus on Traditional Punched Tinwork Nicho construction incorporating glass, while practicing the skills learned in the beginner workshop. Each participant will leave with a completed tinwork nicho piece similar to the one shown.
The workshops will be held on weekends this autumn and winter in a beautiful historic adobe setting in Cuchillo, NM. Located only 15 minuted from Truth or Consequences. The 5 hour advanced workshops will be $95 with a $15 Material Fee (due at attendance) and limited to 4-5 students. Historic adobe overnight accommodations are available for out of town groups.
